Notice is hereby given that Westmeath County Council has now decided to extend the closure to public traffic,
the roads described hereunder until the 4th July 2022 to facilitate the ongoing construction of the Athlone Flood Defence Structures in Athlone Co Westmeath:

L8011 Deerpark Road at McQuade’s Bridge
Alternative Routes Available:
Alternative access will be via L8008 Canal Banks and the L8010 Clonown Road and vice versa.
