Previous Consultations

  • Westmeath County Council in association with Athlone and Mullingar Town Councils established a Heritage Forum to advise on the preparation and implementation of a County Heritage Plan 2003-2007. This plan is now being updated to include the period 2008-2014.  The Westmeath Heritage Forum is seeking your assistance with the preparation of the Heritage Plan, for further information view the Heritage Plan For Westmeath page.
  • Public Consultation Shannon International River Basin District - The competent authorities now invite written submissions or observations with respect to the draft plan, associated Environmental Report and Habitats Directive Assessment. Written submissions should be forwarded for the attention of Mr. Enda Thompson (contact details above) on or before 22nd June 2009. These submissions / observations will be taken into consideration before finalisation of the Plan.
