Kinnegad Public Realm Enhancement Works

KINNEGAD LIBRARY AND EDUCATION AND TRAINING CENTRE, MAIN STREET, KINNEGAD.  

PUBLIC REALM ENHANCEMENT WORKS COMMENCING ON MAIN STREET, ADJACENT TO THE SITE, FROM SEPTEMBER 2024.

UPDATE FOR NOVEMBER / DECEMBER 2024.

Description of Works:

The Public Realm Enhancement works comprise the installation of a raised table on Main Street, installation of granite kerbs and paving to raised table and footpaths along with the installation of street furniture, road markings, signage, landscaping, and site ancillary works. Please note the following Traffic Management updates. Businesses will operate as usual. VMS signage will be in place in advance of and for the duration of the works.

Traffic Management from Wednesday 20th November to Friday 6th December - Temporary Stop /Go System:

A temporary stop / go traffic management system will be in place on weekdays from Wednesday 20th November to Friday 6th December. Access to local businesses and residences will be maintained at all times. Pedestrian access will also be maintained at all times.

A 2-way traffic management system will be restored at the weekends.

Traffic Management from Saturday 7th December to early January 2025.

Works in the Public Realm will be scaled back from Saturday 7th December for the Christmas period. A 2-way traffic management system will be restored from Saturday 7th December to January 2025.
