The Human Resources Department is responsible for Staff Recruitment, Staff Training & Development, Superannuation, Industrial Relations and a Staff Support Service.

All permanent appointments are subject to receipt of satisfactory references and satisfactory medical examination from a qualified and registered medical practitioner appointed by Westmeath County Council. The qualifications of a candidate are also verified. Canvassing in any competition will disqualify.
