‌‌‌‌The Human Resources Department is responsible for Staff Recruitment, Staff Training Development, Superannuation, Industrial Relations and a Staff Support Service.

  

Recruitment

We endeavour to attract and retain competent employees with the qualifications and experience necessary to provide an efficient and effective service.

All permanent appointments are subject to receipt of satisfactory references and satisfactory medical examination from a qualified and registered medical practitioner appointed by Westmeath County Council.  The qualifications of a candidate are also verified. Canvassing in any competition will disqualify.

RETAINED FIREFIGHTER

(Mullingar Fire Brigade)

(Kilbeggan Fire Brigade) &

(Castlepollard Fire Brigade)

Annual Allowance        Year 1                €16,190

                                      Years 2-4           €17,192

                                      Years 5-7           €18,428

                                      Years 8+            €19,555

ASSISTANT SWIMMING POOL MANAGER

MULLINGAR

Salary Scale €51,722 - €61,865 per annum (including LSIs)
