I should be obliged if you would arrange to attend the November Monthly Meeting of Westmeath County Council, to be held on Monday next, 27 November 2023, to commence immediately following the conclusion of the Statutory Budget Meeting, and no later than 3 p.m. in the Council Chamber, Áras an Chontae, Mullingar by Hybrid Meeting to consider the items set out on the Agenda hereunder.

6.    Westmeath Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) Membership.

One vacancy has arisen in Westmeath LCDC. In accordance with (Section 128C(3)(b)) of the Local Government Act 2001, the nominee shall be appointed to the Committee, without omission or addition, by resolution of the local authority. Nomination has been received from the Public Participation Network for filling of the vacancy, with effect from January 2024, as follows:

8.    Recommendation(s) from Corporate Policy Group:

•    To consider draft calendar of County Council and CPG Meetings 2024.

•    To consider proposal that Westmeath County Council awards a Civic Reception to the Athlone Town Senior Ladies Football Team on their success in winning the Women’s FAI Cup for 2023.

•    To confirm invitation issued to Elected Members of a special meeting of Westmeath County Council (Hybrid) on Thursday, 7th December at 12 p.m. in the Council Chamber, Áras an Chontae, Mullingar, with representatives from NTA, Bus Éireann and Irish Rail.

•    To confirm workshop (Hybrid) with representatives from Uisce Éireann with Elected Members on 12th December 2023 in the Council Chamber, Áras an Chontae, Mullingar.
