10. Recommendation(s) from Corporate Policy Group:
• That the Members of Westmeath County Council resolve to afford a Civic Reception to Prof. Ciarán Ó Catháin, former President of Athlone Institute of Technology, for his immense work and outstanding achievements in guiding Athlone Institute of Technology to University Status.
• That the November Monthly Meeting of Westmeath County Council be held on Monday 22nd November, following the conclusion of the Statutory Budget Meeting.
• That an In-committee Meeting of Westmeath County Council be held at 10 a.m. on Monday 6th December 2021 to consider the draft Housing Delivery Action Plan.

Cllr. Liam McDaniel
Vote of Congratulations to Shane King, Cloonagh, Ballinagore; a student at Mercy Secondary School, Kilbeggan, who was awarded 1st place by an international jury in the Young Reporters for the Environment Litter Less Campaign competition 2021.
Shane's entry featured a video showing the beauty of his local village Ballinagore and focussed on the effects of illegal littering on our rural roads and waterways which can be viewed here.
