“That this Municipal District carries out a full review of all sign posts in the rural area of the District”
b) Cllr. T. Farrell:
“That Athlone Municipal District would prepare Draft Bye-Laws to govern the use of the Mullingar-Athlone Greenway, in particular to control access by horses and cattle, quads, loose dogs and any other matters that may arise”
c) Cllr. T. Farrell:
“That Athlone Municipal District writes to the Minister for Agriculture to ensure that the Regional Veterinary Lab at Coosan remains open”
d) Cllr. A. McManus:
“That this Municipal District erects a railing on both sides of the Ballymahon Road at the entrance to the Greenway.

“That this Municipal District puts in place poles and hanging baskets along Northgate Street.

“Can this Municipal District please investigate the possibility of replacing the “keep left” arrows on the islands on the N55 outside the Dept. of Education & Skills and Covideon”

“That Athlone Municipal District installs a bus shelter for students outside of Moate Community School”

“Athlone Municipal District writes to An Taoiseach, Enda Kenny asking him to address the serious issue of enormous commercial rates increases facing many small and medium businesses as a result of the recent revaluation process”

“That Athlone Municipal District install a ramp in Ard Grainne in the interest of public safety”

“That this Municipal District gives an update on the status of the long overdue South Westmeath Regional Water Supply Scheme”

“That this Municipal District provide a left hand turning lane on the Brawny Road as one approaches the Regional Sports Centre Roundabout to accommodate motorists going into Athlone”
l) Cllr. F. Keena:
“That this Municipal District rectifies the confusing directional sign for ''N55 Cavan'' which is located opposite the junction of exit 10 westbound off the Relief Road with the Ballymahon Road as there is no right hand turn at this location”
m) Cllr. J. Dolan:
“That this Municipal District either widens or removes the railing at the railway bridge on the old Galway Road Athlone to allow wheelchairs to use the footpath”.
n) Cllr. J. Dolan:
“That this Municipal District takes the roadway and lights in charge at the shopping centre between St Marys Square and Irishtown”.
o) Cllr. J. Dolan:
“That this Municipal District implements a scheme of road markings at roundabouts indicating the correct lane traffic should be in for particular destinations”
p) Cllr. A. O’Rourke:
For this Municipal District to replace the 2013 sign on the bottom of the community boards with 'Athlone, Home of the RTE All Ireland Drama Festival”
q) Cllr. A. O’Rourke:
For this Municipal District to up-grade all traffic lights in the town to the latest 'smart' technology to ensure that we have the most efficient and modern traffic control system possible in place, in advance of our Church Street enhancement scheme”

“For this Municipal District to re-examine options and set aside money if necessary to properly light up our town castle to enhance its presentation and presence at night time”
