What Is Mine screening Athlone

Helium Arts will be hosting a free screening of short films by local teenage filmmakers from the SNAP! community filmmaking project in the IMC Cinema Athlone on Saturday 14 September from 12pm-1pm.

The screening will include the premiere of What is Mine, a curious tale of one man’s inheritance and a coveted spoon, filmed by 10 teenagers with diabetes in historic locations around Athlone last December.

The SNAP! film project is produced by Helium Arts in partnership with Midlands Hospital Mullingar and Athlone Arts & Tourism. The project is funded by the Arts Council, Westmeath County Council, Creative Ireland and Healthy Ireland, and is supported by the Westmeath branch of Diabetes Ireland.
