Fáilte Ireland invites you to take part in the Westmeath Community Consultations for the Mid Shannon & Midlands Destination Experience Development Plan (DEDP) - a plan that will help shape the future of tourism across this part of Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands.

Main Community Workshop

This workshop will be facilitated by TOPOSOPHY on behalf of Fáilte Ireland.
It will be a relaxed, interactive session, with easy-to-follow materials outlining the emerging themes and ideas for tourism in the Midlands. There’ll be plenty of opportunity to share your views through discussion and simple mapping exercises.

The workshop includes a drop in element, so if you’re not available to join from the start, you’re welcome to pop in at any time.

If you’re not free on Wednesday, there are two additional drop-in sessions on Tuesday the 14th and Wednesday the 15th of April, hosted by a Fáilte Ireland Regional Officer. These provide an opportunity to view the materials, ask questions and share feedback.
