June Bank Holiday Weekend: Joint Water Safety Press Release:

In the lead up to the June Bank Holiday weekend, the Coast Guard, RNLI, and Water Safety Ireland have issued a joint water safety appeal, asking people to take some basic steps to stay safe on the water, as more people visit waterways nationwide or participate in coastal and inland aquatic activities.

You, your family, or friends may be out enjoying the outdoors in the beautiful Lake County over the coming holiday weekend. That is great…….but think about your safety when in/around the water.

If you see somebody in trouble on the water or along the coast, or think they are in trouble, use Marine VHF channel 16 or Dial 112 and ask for the Coast Guard.
