Notice is hereby given that Westmeath County Council has now decided to close to public traffic, the road’s described hereunder between the dates shown to facilitate works for the Athlone Main Drainage Scheme Works.
Dates & times to be closed:
02nd December 2024 to the 31st January 2025. 24 hours daily.
Roads to be Closed:
Griffith Street, Athlone (L-8018-0)
Alternative Routes Available:
Church Street/Old N6 (R-446-376) to Strand Street (L-8023-0) to The Strand (L-8024-0)
Details of diversions for these temporary closures will be signposted.
