Works are now underway on the Safe Routes to School Scheme at St. Joseph’s National School, Killucan

Westmeath County Council is delighted to announce the commencement of works on the Safe Routes to School Scheme at St. Joseph’s National School, Killucan. These works will help create a safer more accessible environment for pupils walking, cycling and scooting to school.

The scheme design was based on the Safe Routes to School Outline Delivery Plan prepared by the An Taisce Green-Schools Safe Routes to School Infrastructure Office in consultation with the school community, Westmeath County Council and the National Transport Authority.
