Oral History Network Ireland

We would like to share details of an upcoming free event hosted by the Oral History Network of Ireland (OHNI) and supported by The Heritage Council: ‘Craft, Care and Community’.

Taking place on Saturday 21st February at the Sheraton Athlone Hotel, County Westmeath, this full-day free event celebrates oral history projects from across Ireland that focus on the themes of care, work, and community heritage.

Event Details:

• When: Saturday 21st February 2026, 9:30am – 4:30pm
• Where: The Sheraton Athlone Hotel, County Westmeath 
• Cost: Free (includes refreshments and a light lunch), but registration is required.
