Join us at the Hodson Bay for a special launch and screening event for a series of four short films about the history and natural heritage of Lough Ree.
celebrating a stunning series of films about the beauty, history, and stories of Lough Ree.
There will be live music and poetry recitals on the night.
Light refreshments will be served on the evening.

The films feature many people from the area around Lough Ree as well as historians Harman Murtagh and Gearoid O’Brien, archaeologists Daniel Curley and Kieran O’Connor, NPWS Ranger Susan Moles and Luke Kenny from the Local Authorities Water Programme (LAWPRO).
This series of short films was created by Bailey & Blake Productions and supported by the Heritage Offices of Longford County Council, Roscommon County Council and Westmeath County Council, with funding from Creative Ireland, Creative Communities and The Heritage Council.
