Westmeath County Council is inviting applications for the Local Live Performance Programming Scheme 4 for the delivery of local, live performance events in Westmeath up to the 31st October 2022.
This project is designed to support those working in the professional arts and culture sectors by developing events that engage the service of local professional artists, musicians, technicians, producers, and other professional practitioners involved in live performances.
Applications are invited from Westmeath based professional performing artists, bands, musicians, event producers, promoters, arts and culture organisations, festivals, theatre companies or venues to develop and present work to a local live public audience before 31st October 2022.
All genres of performances are included in this scheme (music, spectacle, circus, dance, street art etc). Performances can be unplugged presentations, collaborative creatives, amplified concerts etc.
Applications demonstrating a wide diversity and/or engaging new communities will be positively considered.

Awards will be between €3,000 and €15,000 and are inclusive of VAT and all other relevant Tax Liabilities.
Insurance costs can be included in your grant application budget.
Event Organisers - It should be noted that grant payments will not be issued without the prior submission of a Letter of Indemnity naming ‘Westmeath County Council’ (from Public Liability Insurance) which lasts for the duration of the event. Westmeath County Council accepts no responsibility and concedes no liability in respect of any accident, injury, or damage to property or person however arising regarding any incident, occurrence or claim which may take place.
Proposals are assessed on the quality and ambition of the activities and the extent to which the events achieve the aims of supporting local professional artists and providing opportunities for local audiences to experience live music.
