ROADS ACT, 1993
TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Westmeath County Council INTEND to temporarily close the following roads for the period and reason specified below.

Road subject of proposed closure

L-6210 at Ennell Court, Patrick Street, Mullingar.

This road shall be closed from 7am on the 20th April 2026 until 6pm on 8th May 2026.

Diversion

As per map displayed on website. Details below.
Detour Signage will be in place.

Reason for Proposed Closure

To facilitate road resurfacing, installation of new kerbs, installation of pedestrian crossing points and new road way into The Triangle. New footpath and access to Ennell Court Community Centre.

This intended road closure may be viewed on the local authority’s website at www.westmeathcoco.ie

Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing to the Municipal District of Mullingar Kinnegad, Westmeath County Council, Áras an Chontae, Mount St, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath or email mkmd@westmeathcoco.ie on or before 4pm on the 1st April 2026.
