The consultation exercise to underpin the development of a new Outdoor Recreation Plan for Westmeath is now underway.
The input of individuals, organisations and groups from across Westmeath is vital to the development of a needs-led Outdoor Recreation Plan for the county. This plan seeks to guide the management and development of outdoor recreation while increasing participation over the course of the next five years.
An online survey is open until the 8th August, for any resident from Westmeath to give their views on Outdoor Recreation opportunities, including those who do not currently engage in outdoor recreation and those who face barriers to doing so. The survey can be accessed using the link below and takes approximately five minutes to complete:
