The Civic Offices of Westmeath County Council in Mullingar, Athlone and Castlepollard will be closed to the public from 4:00pm on Wednesday, 23 December 2020 and will re-open on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 29, 30 and 31 of December 2020 during the hours of 9:30am to 4:00pm.
The offices will be closed to the public on Friday, 1 January 2021 and reopen as normal to the public on Monday, 4 January 2021 at 9:30am.
Motor Tax will close at 4:00pm on Wednesday, 23 December 2020 and reopen Tuesday 29 December at 9:30am. Motor Tax Offices in Mullingar and Athlone will close at 1:00pm on Thursday, 31 December 2020 to facilitate end of year routines. The Cash Offices in Mullingar and Athlone will remain open until 4:00pm on this date.
Westmeath Libraries will close from 4:00pm on Wednesday, 23 December 2020 and will be re-open as follows:
• 29-30 December from 10:00am to 5:00pm.
• 31 December from 10:00am to 4:00pm.

All libraries will be closed to the public on Friday, 1 January 2021.
Normal library opening hours will resume from Monday, 4 January 2021.
Mullingar Swimming Pool will be closed from: Thursday, 24 December 2020 until Saturday 26 December 2020 inclusive.

Athlone Regional Sports Centre will close at 2pm on Christmas Eve & reopen on Sunday 27 December at 8:30am. The centre will be open from 8:30am-6:00pm every day from 27 to 30 December. On New Year’s Eve the centre will be open 8:30am-5:00pm, closed New Year’s Day, and reopen as normal from Saturday 2 January onwards.
