Criteria:
1. You must express your interest by completing the EOI form and submitting this to cbl@westmeathcoco.ie
2. All applicants must be approved for housing on Westmeath County Council’s housing list.
3. Your household will only be considered if this unit meets the needs of your household.
4. Priority will be given to households who have selected this area as one of their areas of choice.
5. The approved household will be subject to a Housing Needs Assessment and vetting to ensure the household is still eligible for social housing.
6. Households who are not currently approved on the Housing List will not be considered for allocation.
7. The property will be allocated to the household most suitable for allocation as determined by the Housing Section in accordance with the Housing Allocation Scheme.
8. All applications will be examined on estate management grounds including rent arrears.
9. A successful candidate who refuses a Choice Based Letting will not be eligible for consideration for another Choice Based Letting unit for a period of 1 year.
