Westmeath Libraries are introducing a Call and Collect Service from Athlone, Mullingar, Moate and Castlepollard Libraries. This service will commence on the 8th of June 2020 in line with the government’s roadmap to re-open the country. Library buildings will remain closed to public access during this initial phase.
All you need to do is contact Westmeath Libraries by phone on 044 933 2162 or email firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know what your reading interests are. We will then make a selection for you. You will be allocated a collection time to pick up your books, audiobooks, or dvds from a designated area at the library entrance. Please remember to bring your own bag, and remember to maintain social distance and stay safe.
If you are cocooning and unable to call in to the library, please let us know and we will work with volunteers and Westmeath Community Development to arrange delivery of your items to your home.
There are no fines or fees to access the library service, and our Library Online service is also available with ebooks, eaudiobooks, digital magazines and newspapers, as well as online learning. For more information on this please see www.westmeathcoco.ie/LibOnline
Stay Safe, Hold Firm, and remember, we are all in this together. This may be a limited service but it is the first step on the road back.
