Westmeath County Council is inviting applications to apply to the Built Heritage Investment Scheme (BHIS) 2026. This scheme offers funding of between €2,500 and €50,000 for repair/conservation works to qualifying structures.

Invitations are also invited for the BHIS Historic Thatch Buildings (HTB) fund 2026 for the conservation of historic thatched buildings.
