As part of the Biodiversity Action Plan Westmeath County Council launched a workbook for primary school children in 3^rd, 4^th, 5^th and 6^th classes.

The workbook aims to raise awareness of the importance of biodiversity, the local habitats of Westmeath and the species associated with each individual habitat.

It is being made available to all Westmeath Primary Schools schools free of charge.
