The Built Heritage Investment Scheme (BHIS) 2027 is now open for applications. This grant scheme will provide grants of between €2,500 and €50,000 for the conservation of historic structures. To be eligible for the grant buildings must be on the Record of Protected Structures or be within an Architectural Conservation Area (ACA). Vernacular structures and Historic Shopfronts are also eligible for funding under this grant scheme.

BHIS Historic Thatch Buildings (HTB) fund 2027 is also open for applications. This grant scheme is for historic thatched roof buildings.

Applications for both of these grant schemes must be accompanied by a detailed method statement and the deadline for applications is 30 October.
