At the Annual Meeting of Westmeath County Council held on 30^th June 2025, Cllr. Aoife Davitt (Fianna Fáil) was elected as Cathaoirleach and Cllr. Paul Hogan (Independent Ireland) was elected as Leas-Chathaoirleach for 2025-2026.
