Over the last year, many people who use libraries, who work in libraries and who would like to be involved with libraries were consulted on how the public library service in Ireland should develop over the next 5 years.

The result is a new National Strategy for Public Libraries called: Our Public Libraries.

It was launched by Minister Ring on 14th  June in the Lexicon Library.
