Westmeath Public Participation Network (WPPN) is the recognised voice for the Community & Voluntary Sector in Westmeath in matters relating to Westmeath County Council and its related structures.

A new framework for public engagement and participation in local government was introduced in 2014 called the Public Participation Network (PPN).

Westmeath County Council's Community section and the Westmeath Public Participation Network held grant information evenings and walk-in clinics in both Athlone and Mullingar.
