Westmeath County Council, in partnership with Brennan McCann Developments, are delighted to announce the launch of a Local Authority Affordable Purchase Scheme at Coola Meadows, Kilbeggan, Co. Westmeath.
A total of 10 houses will be made available to purchase for successful applicants, at a reduced price. A mix of 2-bed and 3-bed units are being made available, with reduced purchase price starting as low as €275,000.
The scheme will be delivered in two phases, with Phase 1 (Opening May 11th at 12pm) consisting of 2 x 2-bed semi-detached and 2 x3-bed semi-detached houses. The minimum purchase price for the 2-bed houses in this phase will be €275,000 and for the 3-beds €315,000.
The purchase price you pay will be calculated based on your income and mortgage capacity. You will enter an Affordable Dwelling Purchase Agreement with Westmeath County Council, who will take an equity share in your home, equal to the difference in the open market value and the purchase price you pay. The equity share is expressed as a percentage of the market value of the home.
