Westmeath County Council is responsible for the management of on and off street parking in Mullingar and Athlone.
Westmeath County Council's Traffic Wardens are in operation in Mullingar and Athlone in order to
- Encourage the free-flow of all traffic
- Provide improved access to parking places around the town
- Reduce traffic congestion around the town
- Improve road safety
Please note: Tickets can usually be paid online after two business days from the date of issue of the ticket.
Failure to pay your parking ticket will result in Westmeath County Council instituting legal proceedings.
