Children's Swimming Lessons
The lessons run for 7 weeks at a time from September to July.
Next set start 7th, 8th and 11th of September 2010
Bookings for these will be taken from the 7th August.
Tuesday's: 4:15 to 4:45pm, 4:45 to 5:15pm, 5:15 to 5:45 and 5:45 to 6:15pm
Wednesday's: 4:15 to 4:45pm, 4:45 to 5:15pm, 5:15 to 5:45 and 5:45 to 6:15pm(lanes swimming only)
Saturdays 11:00 to 11:30, 11:30 to 12:00, 12:00 to 12:30 and 12:30 to 1pm(lanes swimming only)
The lessons are devided up into 5 levels, beginner 1(turtles), beginner 2 (sea horse),improver 1(starfish), improver 2(dolphins) and deepend(sharks).

Private Pool Hire
Schools:
The pool is working in conjuction with the Irish Water Safety. We ask all schools to take part in the paws program. The program gives children of all ages the knowledge to swim and be safe around water. The paws program packs can be got at the pool, which all schools taking part need to go through in the class room.
To book in for the school year 2010/2011 booking forms must be filled out and sent to the pool before the end of June 2010.
Clubs/other: Booking forms must be filled out and sent back to the pool.
Note:
Please keep in mind that the date and time you want might not always be available.
The pool has the right to change your times and dates if needed.
The maxium number of people allowed in the pool at one time is 60.
A confirmation letter will be sent back comfirming the booking.
All forms can be got at the pool just ask any of the staff.
Facilities
The swimming pool has a large communal dressing room that can facilitate in excess of 60 swimmers. There are also 26 single cubicles and 3 large family cubicles for added privacy. 3 hairdryers are provided at a charge of 20cent.
There are 10 open showers that surround the pool for use before and after swimming.
The Sauna is open during all public sessions. There are 2 additional power showers with hot and cold water adjacent to the Sauna.
The pool has a changing room for people with disabilities equipped with shower and bathroom facilities. It also provides a hoist for those who require assistance entering and exiting the pool.
A PA system is installed at the pool.
A soft drinks machine is located in reception for any exhausted swimmers.
A large balcony overlooks the pool for visitors and family members of swimmers.

Aqua Aerobics: €60 for 7 weeks
Adult swimming lessons: €70 for 7 weeks
Childrens swimming lessons: €56 for 7 weeks

Policy
Rules and Regulations
In the interest of Health, Safety and Security, the following rules must be adhered to by all patrons of the Mullingar Swimming Pool.
This list is not exhaustive, and can be amended from time to time.
- Swimming hats must be worn at all times during the use of the pool
- Patrons must shower before using the pool
- No jumping into the pool
- No diving
- No horseplay
- No glass bottles allowed in dressing room or pool side
- All baskets to be left in the basket racks at the pool side during sessions
Remember. . . . No Hat. . . No Swim !
