Waste Managment Plan
Nearly half a million tonnes of household, commercial / industrial, construction and demolition waste is generated in the Midlands Region every year. The five Local Authorities, Laois, Longford, North Tipperary, Offaly and Westmeath, have worked together to prepare a Waste Management Plan for the Midlands Region for the period 2005 - 2010. The Midlands Waste Management plan is currently under review.
