Our Services

Westmeath Local Authorities provide a diverse range of services and activities through various frontline Council services provided through our network of Area offices at Mullingar, Castlepollard, Athlone and Kilbeggan.  For more information on the services available at our Area Offices please visit our Area Office page.

Service Indicators

This is the fifth Service Indicators Report. The first report was produced in 2005 in respect of performance in 2004. The aim of the process is to measure performance by local authorities across a range of services. Once the indicators have been collated by the Local Government Management Services Board, the Independent Assessment Panel, appointed by the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government audits the data and reports to the Minister. Their report is incorporated into this report.
