Council Meetings
Annual Meeting
Westmeath County Council is legally obliged to hold an annual meeting. This meeting is being held on the last Monday of June each year.
Budget Meeting
Westmeath County Council is legally obliged to hold an annual budget meeting. The annual budget is debated and agreed on during this meeting. This meeting is held in late November or early December (within a period prescribed by the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government).
Monthly Meetings
The monthly meetings provide a general forum where your elected representatives discuss issues relevant to the well-being of the county.
The monthly meetings take place in County Buildings at 3.00pm on the last Monday of every month.
