From Monday, 10th May, Westmeath Libraries are open for browsing and borrowing. Due to the current government restrictions there will be no seating or study facilities, and we ask everyone to keep their visits short for the moment. We encourage everyone to use our self-service kiosks to issue and return items.
Athlone, Mullingar, Moate, Castlepollard and Kilbeggan will open with late night service on Thursdays.

There will be a limit on the number of visitors allowed into each library at any one time. Everyone should observe physical distancing, and wear a face covering while in the libraries.
Online requests will be available from 17th May, we will contact people if there are items currently awaiting collection for you from the library.
