Notice is hereby given that Westmeath County Council having given the required notice of intention has now decided to close to public traffic the road described hereunder periodically between the dates shown to facilitate the construction of flood defences in Athlone, Co Westmeath:
Dates to be Closed
Monday 14th February 2022 to Saturday 31st December 2022.
Roads to be Closed:
L8009 & L8010 Clonown road, Athlone.
Alternative Routes Available:
Alternative access will be via the L80073 Springwell Road, L8007 St. Anne’s Terrace, L8008 Canal Banks, L8011 Deer park Road and vice versa
