TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROADS
ROADS ACT 1993
ROADS REGULATIONS 1994

Notice is hereby given that Westmeath County Council intends to close to public traffic, the roads described hereunder at various dates between 9 August and 29 October 2021 to facilitate Road Resurfacing, Drainage and Safety Barrier Works on the roads listed hereunder.

Municipal District of Athlone - Moate

M6    Junction 4 (Tyrrellspass), All sliproads and Roundabouts
M6    Junction 5 (Kilbeggan), All sliproads and Roundabouts
M6    Junction 7 (Moate West), All sliproads and Roundabouts
N6    Junction 9 (Garrycastle), All sliproads
N6    Junction 11 (Coosan), All sliproads

Details of Diversions for these temporary closures will be available on Westmeath County Council website www.westmeathcoco.ie or by contacting the Municipal District  of Athlone-Moate Office, Civic Offices, Church Street, Athlone.

All Diversions will be signposted

Local Access will be facilitated

Any person who wishes to object to the closing of these roads should lodge such objections with the District Manager, Municipal District of Athlone-Moate, Westmeath County Council, Civic Centre, Church Street, Athlone, not later than 4 p.m. on Friday 16 July 2021
