Roads: Re - opening of N52 North of Mullingar Co. Westmeath

RE-OPENING OF N52 NORTH OF MULLINGAR CO. WESTMEATH
Between Cloghan Cross (L-1501) and Killynan Cooke (L-57231)


Following a three month road closure of the N52 between Cloghan Cross and Turin Church, Westmeath County Council wishes to announce that the N52 will re-open to traffic late this Tuesday evening 13th June 2017.


Substantial construction works will remain to be carried out by the construction contractor, Fox Building and Engineering Ltd. This section of the N52 will continue to be part of a construction work site over the next few months. There will be a 50 kph speed limit in place and other traffic management measures including lane closures under traffic lights. 


The travelling public are requested to exercise due care and diligence while travelling through the site.


Westmeath County Council acknowledges with gratitude the patience and co-operation of the general public, local residents and businesses, and wishes to express its regret for any inconvenience caused.
