Westmeath County Council intends to close to public traffic Mardyke Street, adjacent to R915 and R446 to facilitate Athlone Town Centre Public Realm Enhancement works from Thursday 2 March 2023 to Friday 4 August 2023. 

Westbound traffic will be diverted South on R915 and diverted West on R446. Diversion routes will be signposted.

Any person who wishes to object to the closing of this road should lodge such objection in writing with the District Administrator, Municipal District of Athlone-Moate, Civic Centre, Church Street, Athlone, by 4pm on Wednesday 8 February 2023.
