Westmeath County Council has continued to deliver vital public services in the challenging circumstances arising from the Covid-19 pandemic.  We are advised by relevant Government and Public Agencies on an ongoing basis in doing so.

In line with the Government’s COVID-19 Resilience and Recovery – The Path Ahead:

All Westmeath County Council Offices will reopen to the public on Wednesday 4th August 2021.

Offices will be open Monday to Friday from 9.30 am to 4.00 pm.

The Housing public counter will be open to the public from 9.30 am to 1.00 pm.

Customers attending our Offices are asked:

• to adhere to physical distancing and cough/sneeze etiquette in accordance with public health measures and advice
• to wear a face covering
• to use the hand sanitisation facilities provided
• to restrict the duration of their visit to the minimum time necessary
• to use contactless payments methods as far as possible
• to comply with instructions from staff regarding management of the public areas and queuing

Westmeath Library Service has been reopening on a phased basis and is now open to the public with numbers limited in accordance with public health advice.
