In addition to statutory road closures to facilitate Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2023, restrictions will apply in a number of car parks in advance of the event.
Restrictions to Car Parks:
Access to a number of car parks will be restricted as follows:-
Blackhall - Partially closed to vehicular access from 5pm on Tuesday 1 August, 2023 with full closure to vehicles from 5pm on Friday 4 August, 2023. The through road will be operational as normal until 10am on Sunday 6 2023 August where a full closure will apply.
Fair Green - Closed to vehicular access from 5pm on Wednesday 2 August, 2023.
Friars Mill Road - Designated for disabled parking only from 8am on Sunday 6 August 2023 until 4am on Tuesday 15 August 2023.
Austin Friars Car Park - This car park will be partially allocated for disabled parking from 8am on Sunday 6 August until 4am on Tuesday 15 August 2023.
Variable message signage (VMS) will be erected to alert motorists in advance. Other public car parks outside the road closure zone will operate as normal.
