Press Release: Affordable Purchase Scheme – Gort an Locha

Westmeath County Council is delighted to launch an ‘Affordable Purchase Scheme’ at Gort an Locha, Lake Road, Moate, Co. Westmeath.
 
22 New Homes, consisting of three and four bedrooms are being made available for sale under the Affordable Dwelling Purchase Arrangements in accordance with the Affordable Legislation. The properties are open to first time buyers or those who qualify under the ‘Fresh Start Principle’. Applications will be assessed in line with the Westmeath County Council Scheme of Priority.
 
The online application system will open on Wednesday 26 July 2023 at 12 noon. In advance of this it is recommended that interested purchasers familiarise themselves with the application process and required documentation, in particular a copy of your mortgage approval in principle. A deposit of 10% of the purchase price of the property will be required.
