At the Annual General Meetings of the Municipal District of Mullingar Kinnegad and the Municipal District of Athlone-Moate held on Monday 14 June 2021, the elected Members of Westmeath County Council elected new Mayors and Deputy Mayors for the respective Municipal Districts.

Cllr. Aoife Davitt was elected as Mayor of the Municipal District of Mullingar-Kinnegad and Cllr. Ken Glynn was elected as Deputy Mayor.

Cllr. Liam McDaniel was elected as Mayor of the Municipal District of Athlone-Moate and Cllr. Aengus O'Rourke was elected as Deputy Mayor.

Westmeath County Council welcomes the new Mayors and Deputy Mayors and wishes them well during their terms.
