Met Éireann - Status Yellow Warning

Road Temperatures in the county went to a low of minus 3 degrees last night. All priority routes were treated as planned by our gritting crews.

Widespread severe frost and ice is again forecasted for tonight with lowest temperatures of -4 degrees expected which will lead to hazardous driving conditions. Road users are advised to drive with extreme caution especially on untreated road surfaces. Our gritting crews are on standby and will be treating our priority routes as and when required.
