Longford Regional Road Closures

Longford County Council wishes to advise of two Regional Road closures on R396 from the 15-17 May as follows:
Closure 1:
Proposed road closure for overlay works to be carried on the Regional Road R396 Camagh, Abbeylara, Co. Longford.
Road to be closed: Regional Road R396 from Abbeylara Village to Camagh Bridge (County Westmeath)
Alternatives Routes:
��Diversion at Abbeylara: Abbeylara to Lisryan (L-1081, L-1085). Lisryan to Coole (R395).
��Diversion at Coole: Coole to Lisryan (R395). Lisryan to Abbeylara (L-1081, L-1085).
Date: Monday 15 & Tuesday 16 May 2023
Hours of Closure: 7.30am - 6pm.
This closure is to facilitate road restoration (DBM overlay) on the R396 Camagh Td.
 
Closure 2:
Proposed road closure for overlay works to be carried on the Regional Road R396 Ballynacross, Granard, Co. Longford.
Road to be closed: Regional Road R396 from T-junction with the R94 Ballynacross to Abbeylara Village.
Alternative Routes:
��Diversion at T-junction: Ballynacross to Ballywillin (R194), Ballywillin to Abbeylara (L-1073).
��Diversion at Abbeylara: Abbeylara to Killasona (L-1081) , Killasona to Granard (L-1077).
Date: Wednesday 17 May 2023
Hours of Closure: 7.30am - 6pm.
This closure is to facilitate road restoration (DBM overlay) on the R396 Ballynacross Td.
