Westmeath County Council in conjunction with the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage are inviting applications for the Historic Structures Fund and the Built Heritage Investment Scheme 2022.
The primary focus of the Historic Structures Fund will be on conservation and enhancement of historic structures and buildings for the benefit of communities and the public.
Funding is being offered for Vernacular Structures and for Historic Shop Fronts, with an additional funding allocation for the conservation of traditional Irish-language shopfronts.
The Built Heritage Investment Scheme is designed to support owners and custodians in caring for Protected Structures or Buildings in Architectural Conservation Areas to ensure that our Built Heritage is protected into the future.
