Draft Litter Management Plans 2024-2026 for Municipal Districts of Mullingar/Kinnegad and Athlone/Moate

NOTICE OF PUBLICATION OF WESTMEATH COUNTY COUNCIL DRAFT LITTER MANAGEMENT PLANS 2024-2026 FOR THE MUNICIPAL DISTRICT OF ATHLONE-MOATE AND THE MUNICIPAL DISTRICT OF MULLINGAR-KINNEGAD.

Notice is hereby given under Section 10 of the Litter Pollution Act 1997 that Westmeath County Council is proposing to make Litter Management Plans 2024-2026 for the Municipal District of Athlone-Moate and the Municipal District of Mullingar-Kinnegad.

A copy of the Draft Plans will be available for public inspection from Monday 04th of March 2024 to Tuesday 2nd of April 2024. The Plan will be available for inspection at the offices of Westmeath County Council, Áras an Chontae, Mullingar and the Civic Offices, Athlone and also online at https://consult.westmeathcoco.ie/en/browse

A copy of the proposed plans may be obtained, on request, from the Local Authority free of charge. Written submissions or observations with respect to the Draft Plans should be made in writing to the Senior Engineer, Environment Section, Westmeath County Council, Aras an Chontae, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath or by-mail to: littermanagementplan@westmeathcoco.ie to arrive by Tuesday 2nd of April 2024. Any such written submission or observation shall be taken into consideration before the making of the plans.
