Draft Casual Trading Bye-Laws

 

MUNICIPAL DISTRICT OF MULLINGAR KINNEGAD SECTION 6 OF THE CASUAL TRADING ACT 1995, AS AMENDED DRAFT CASUAL TRADING BYE-LAWS

 

Westmeath County Council in exercise of the powers vested in them under the provisions of The Casual Trading Act, 1995 hereby gives notice of its intention to make Casual Trading Bye-Laws for the control, regulation, supervision and administration of casual trading in the administrative area of Municipal District of Mullingar Kinnegad.


The Draft Bye-Laws are available for inspection from Monday 30 August 2021 up to and including Friday 1 October 2021.

They can be viewed online at here;

A copy of the Draft Bye-Laws may be inspected at Áras an Chontae, Mullingar, by appointment only by calling the District Manager on (044) 9332032 during office hours, 9.30am to 4.00pm each day, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays.

Observations, objections or submissions regarding the proposed Bye-laws are invited from members of the public and other interested parties from the date of the publication of this notice not later than 5.00 pm on Friday 15 of October 2021 and any submissions received during this period shall be considered by the Council.


Submissions can be made online. Alternatively, submissions can be made in writing to the District Manager, Municipal District of Mullingar Kinnegad, Áras an Chontae, Mount Street, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath to arrive no later than 5.00pm on Friday 15 October 2021.


All comments, including the names of those making comments, submitted to the Council regarding the above, will form part of the report to be presented to the District meeting.
The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individuals or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting.
