Westmeath County Council has announced the start of an early consultation regarding the regeneration of lands at Loughanaskin, Athlone. This initial consultation is part of the preparation of a Masterplan for Loughanaskin that will seek to deliver a highly sustainable, innovative and integrated urban quarter adjoining the town centre of Athlone through the Urban Regeneration and Development Fund (URDF).
An online survey is available via www.loughanaskin.ie to capture early feedback and assess the needs and aspirations of stakeholders and the local community to inform the development of the Masterplan. Please note the survey will close on Monday 08 February 2021.
