For the past number of years Westmeath County Council has distributed over €450,000 per annum to Community & Voluntary groups in the form of Awards and Grants. This is because the Council recognises and values the work that the Community & Voluntary sector carry out on a day to day basis and believes that this sector is one of the most important in the county as it contributes to the quality of life of all citizens.

Westmeath County Council is inviting applications for the following Grants:

• Community Action Grant
• Tidy Towns Grant
• Residents Associations Grant

• Nominations for Cathaoirleach Awards 2022
• Community Project of the Year application 2022
• Age Friendly Recognition Award 2022
• Pride of Place application 2022
• STEM grant application 2022 (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics Grant)

All applications must be submitted by 5pm Friday 4th March 2022 - Late Applications will not be accepted.

If you are unable to access the online application please call the Community Development office for help or download an offline application form and submit to the office for submission to the online system on your behalf.
