On Monday 15^th August 2022, The Minister for Rural and Community Development, Heather Humphreys TD, announced  €7.4 million in funding to support 175 community projects nationwide.

 Westmeath have been approved for FIVE projects under Measure 1 of the CLÁR Programme for 2022. 

1. Ballymore Community Centre (€50,000)  - Car Park at Community Centre
2. Tang National School (€50,000) – Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) for use by the whole community
3. Finea Tidy Towns Committee ( €50,000) – Public Lighting  
4. Rosemount Community (€50,000) – Public Lighting
5. Ballymore GAA  (€50,000) - Astro & Fencing
