We are delighted to announce that the Annual celebration of the Community and Voluntary sector through the Cathaoirleach awards is now in its 18th year and will be taking place in Belvedere House and Gardens on Friday 9 June 2023.

Places to attend in person are limited and are by invitation only. However, we are conscious that community groups, friends, and family members of the potential winners are anxious to cheer on their nominee for an award and have arranged for the LIVE STREAMING of the Cathaoirleach Awards event again this year.  

The event will include:

• Pride of place awards
• Age Friendly Recognition Award
• STEM Awards (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics)
• Eco-schools 
• Tidy Towns
• Project of the Year Award
• The Prestigious Cathaoirleach Awards for Person/Group of the year 2023.  

You are all invited to attend the virtual streaming of the live event on the Friday 9 June starting at 7.00pm. Please tune in and cheer on your nominee and celebrate on the night with us.
